CASE STUDY: CASTLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS OBTAINS PAS 2030 with GDER TRAINING PACKAGE

The award winning Green Deal, Energy Companies Obligation and Renewables (GDER) training package which includes a training workshop and certificate designed to prepare gas installers to develop their existing businesses by entering into new markets has helped Castle Energy Solutions Limited, based in Cheshire to gain PAS 2030 accreditation via BlueFlame Certification and apply for new contracts under ECO funding.

Lyndon Cunningham, Director of Castle Energy Solutions Limited talks about the benefits of obtaining PAS 2030 accreditation, "This has allowed us to access the Green Deal and ECO markets as a fully approved installer.  Having PAS 2030 under our belt is already helping us break open new opportunities and finally compete with the bigger companies."

For Castle Energy Solutions Limited and other small businesses undergoing the GDER training, it's about taking one step at a time and asking for help when they don't understand something.  With the EU Skills Network Gas Installers have access to other like-minded businesses, funding opportunities and training.  The GDER training package includes a training workshop and certificate on preparing businesses for GDER, updates and bulletins about key industry news and developments, on-going support to prepare small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) for GDER work as well as assessment for Certification for Green Deal Installers (PAS2030)/ Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
